We are a family run auction house based in Blackburn, Lancashire. Since being first established our auction house has continued to grow each year and we host monthly auctions that specialise in antiques and collectibles. We also pride ourselves on our house clearances which we provide free no obligation advice for and free no obligation valuations on all items. At Shaw’s we also offer probate services. We cover all areas of Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Yorkshire including Clitheroe, Chorley, Preston, Blackburn with Darwen, Whalley, Burnley, Bolton, Wigan, Shaw, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds. As well as Lancashire our services also cover the whole of the UK.
Owner
When I was younger, I inherited a collection of my grandad’s Royal Doulton character jugs which sparked a keen interest in buying and collecting character jugs and other Toby jugs. This interest lead to a deeper passion for a wide range of collectibles and other antiquities. I began to buy and sell a variety of different items through online sites, car boot sales, antique fairs, and auction houses further developing my knowledge of antiques and collectibles. Having been a customer myself, I know what works for you and what is important to both sellers and buyers at auction. That is why I strive to ensure that you, whether you are a vendor or a seller, have an easy and enjoyable service with us throughout.
Callum has years of experience buying and selling antiques and collectibles both online and in person. He works alongside his family to ensure a great experience for all customers.
