Sunday 16th June.
In the week that saw the return of the Euros, we have been busy as always!
This week at Shaw’s we have received a huge amount of consignments for our next auction (7th July). We have received gems, jewellery and a wide range of antiques. These are now being processed and ready to go into our catalogue.
We are very excited for our first valuation day tomorrow in our hometown of Darwen, it means a lot to be able to have this in the heritage centre of the town we were born and live in. Hopefully we will see a lot of faces familiar and new tomorrow!
This week we also received a feature in one of the most desirable publications in the antique world, the Antique Trade Gazette. The ATG brings the antique world the most exciting stories from the biggest names in the business and to be featured in it after only 5 auctions is something we will always be extremely proud of.
